I would wait for maria_paraskeva's answer on BF1 subreddit because I'm not sure.Obrez Pistol Skins:

Can't get it from the battlepack?
I have always wanted to collect these "exchange only" skins
I plan to obtain the other skins through the battlepack - HUN_gattaca_lg2 years agoSeasoned Ace
this is an older comment of mine:
I think Maria is one of the famous battlepack/weekly scrap exchange experts on Reddit:

OMG, you found the post! I'd been looking for that forever, I'd seen it once, then she'd deleted her account for a while and it'd been gone!
@HUN_gattaca_lg After checking Maria's overview I have to say that the pricing of the exchange-exclusive skins doesn't make any sense at all. Siegfriedstellung and Blutigen April cost 2000 scraps while The Blood Tub and Osterschlacht cost just 270 even though all four of them come from the same "Arras" series.

Guys does anyone know if there's anyone left we could reach out to who could ensure that the exchange is updated in a reasonable way? EA_Illium made a great job in August but we haven't heard from him ever since. I know the game's old but damn, it's just a few clicks once a week.

@StrikerBait
I think you are missing even 1 smg skin (there are total 92 smg skins).
The counters on the inventory screen do not show by default the maximum numbers of skins by category.
my screenshot:
self-loading rifle: 137
smg: 92
lmg: 137
rifle: 151
shotgun: 62
sidearm: 178
vehicle: 89137 + 92 + 137 + 151 + 62 + 178 + 89 = total 846 skins

I'm still waiting / holding out hope to complete my skin collection if and when the Verrerli-Vitali M1870/87 skins ever show up in Exchange. I only need the 2 legendary non-battlepack skins Crna Bend and Doberdo to complete my collection.

The first scrap exchange update was on March 14th, 2017 ("In Westie's video, we can see that there's a new feature called Scrap Exchange").
https://www.gamereactor.eu/battlefield-1-gets-scrap-exchange-feature/
This update is number #23 on the Battlefield 1 fandom page:
Added on March 14th, 2017, and taken off the rotation March 24th, 2017, this battlepack was released to celebrate the release of the Battlefield 1: They Shall Not Pass expansion pack.
https://battlefield.fandom.com/wiki/Battlepack/Battlefield_1_Retired_Series#Series_#23_-_They_Shall_Not_Pass_Revision
Jaqub Ajmal's first scrap exchange update was on Jul 2, 2018 (this was the #95th update in the game):
https://battlefield.fandom.com/wiki/Battlepack/Battlefield_1_Retired_Series#Exchange_#95
Jaqub Ajmal's last scrap exchange update was on Sep 28, 2020:
Battlefield Producer Jaqub Ajmal Departs DICE After 10 Years (February 7, 2021)
https://mp1st.com/news/battlefield-producer-jaqub-ajmal-departs-dice-after-10-years
After Jaqub Ajmal's departure, i think Straatford87 took over the update (Tom Stratford or Tom Stratman?):
https://se.linkedin.com/in/tom-straatman-a41a25165
Global Community Manager, Battlefield Apr 2023 - Present
Core Community Manager, Battlefield Dec 2020 - Jun 2023 (Stockholm)
Community Manager Jun 2017 - Dec 2020 @HUN_gattaca_lg Yeah, I know the general assumption here is that Straatford87 manages the exchange but frankly he wasn't very responsive when anyone tried to get in touch with him. Also given that he's a "Global Community Manager" now, the exchange management might as well have been delegated to a lower-tier employee.

- StrikerBait2 years agoRising Scout@HUN_gattaca_lg Thank you for that punch in the gut! LOL j/k. I did notice over the years that I would occasionally get a skin that increased my "possible" skin count but it has been so long I figured I would have come across it by now.
I Googled for a definitive list of skins so I can figure out which SMG skin I am missing but could not find anything current with 92 smg skins. Would you have a source for that? I would like to know the name of the skin I am missing.

The inventory screen bug? affects 41 skins.

I recorded a video about the Battlefield 1 inventory bug.
This week MP18 is in the weekly scrap exchange.
The inventory bug affects three MP18 skins (they are not even visible by default on the inventory screen):
Der Weimaraner skin for MP18 (Road to Battlefield V reward), The Hutier skin for MP18 (Battlefest reward), Siegfriedstellung skin for MP18 (Road to Battlefield V reward)The basic inventory screen state for smg is 0/87.
When purchasing the three special MP18 skins, the smg counter changes: 1/88 -> 2/89 -> 3/90
And of course they will be visible on the inventory screen, even though they were hidden until now
my video:
This is Maria. This is NOT a bug. This is intentional since these are considered exclusive skins, so naturally - you won't see them inside the Inventory tab until they are obtained.
I've seen a person on Reddit blaming this on the recent UI update, but this is not the case. This existed before the recent UI update and I even talked about it on Discord, which predates the update itself (I've marked the date of the post I made on Discord in red).
This was made intentionally, because these were Battlefest/Road to BFV skins. I knew this cap increase existed from beforehand, and I've literally mentioned that in Page 1 of my sheet explaining how the cap behaves through these skins, because they are considered "hidden" skins. I thought I made that crystal clear, but some still get confused by it- HUN_gattaca_lg2 years agoSeasoned Ace
sry my hunglish, Maria
But I also don't understand how you can decide with 100% accuracy whether a given skin can be obtained by battlepack.
for example, The Pegahmagabow skin for SMLE MKIII (Battlefest reward, PTFO skin)
A second event, known as Battlefest: Revolution, took place from September 19 to September 30, 2017.
4 missions for exclusive weapon skin for MP 18, Cei-Rigotti, Lewis Gun and SMLE MKIII.
https://battlefield.fandom.com/wiki/Battlefest#2017
Suppose that:
1. condition: I only started playing BF1 after the Road to BFV event
2. condition: I only get skins through battlepack (weekly scrap exchange and community missions are strictly excluded)
You decide based on the law of large numbers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_large_numbers) whether a given skin can be obtained by battlepack.
You buy a lot of battlepacks and once you get the skin, is that skin available through battlepack?
My two conditions (1. AND 2.) must be true of course. @HUN_gattaca_lg I don't think it has ever been officially confirmed that these skins do not drop from battlepacks, but, empirically, it's clear it's like that.
Personally I've never got neither a PTFO skin, nor an Arras skin, a golden-mahogany skin or a golden-ivory skin (the Road to Battlefield V reward skins) from any kind od battlepacks. The same applies for the Tsar, Apocalypse and Turning Tides legendary skins (Dead Kings, De Scévola, Company K and so on).
- HUN_gattaca_lg2 years agoSeasoned Ace
I don't understand either:
Is
the set of skins that do not appear on the inventory screen by default (which increase the value of the counters)
proper (or strict) subset of
the the set of skins that Maria says are not available via battlepack?
Or are the two sets actually the same?I have a bunch of scraps, I'll make a video about opening of battlepacks.
And I will compare my results with Maria's list. - HUN_gattaca_lg2 years agoSeasoned Ace
I had some time and read your theory several times.
