Rental server - map rotation

Two days ago I purchased a rental server for a week. Default presets and map rotations works fine, well at least those I've tried, but when I want to change map rotation manually it only says "Unable to save map rotation as the Battlefield servers could not be reached. Please try again later". I tried with only one selected map and it worked. Problem is, I don't wanna pay for a server that I cannot adjust how I supposed to can.

First I thought that it's just temporarily problem and it's propably gonna work a little later or the next day. Nope, not next day. Perhaps a day after? Nope...

If I can't customize my own **bleep** server, why would I wanna pay for it? So what now? Just sit on my thumb and watch how the server has no players since it's not anything else but one boring default server, and think that "wow! So this is what I can get with 7 €?"..?  My life does not come to an bitter end because of losing 7 euros for nothing, but definately it makes me think twice before I decide to put my money to something like that again. This is not the first time I'm having issues with rental servers, but I think this might be one of the last times if not very last.

Could someone tell me if there's something I can do, or should I just wait for someone to do it for me, or should I go whine to somewhere else? Tried already to shut down my console and log in to battlelog before restarting the game.
