  • Hi nicksgibts!

Sorry, but that is not a option since it will cause technical issues. If you really want to start over again, create a brand new profile and you will be able to start over.

    - Sincerely, Timmie.

  • OP it is not possible to reset your soldier back to level 1 like the COD Prestige function.  Your only option depending on your platform is to make a new account and link it to your existing Origin account.  On PS3 this is free and if you link it to your Origin account and you're Premium your new soldier will also be Premium.  On Xbox this requires a second Xbox Live Gold Subscription and possibly a new BF3 online pass for $9.99.  I don't know how this works for PC.

There is a lot more to do in the game to extend your play - you can go for weapons mastery tags, there are a bunch of assignments from the expansion packs to do - and many more assignments if you become a premium member.  If you've only been using a couple of classes you can expand your game by using classes that you normally don't which really changes the way your game experience is.  I've actually got three soldiers, a Colonel 27 and a PVT 2 on PS3 and a Colonel 02 on Xbox and I play each one differently which had greatly extended my enjoyment of the game.

On ps3 it is free and relatively easy, just make a 2nd account or im guessign u can delete all saved game data.

on PC i dont believe so, ud be looking at buying another cd key or copy of the game entirely (it is on sale currently for 10$ till the 27th of feb on origin premium version for 40$ [AUD])

    no idea about xbox.

if the only reason your wanting to reset your account is because of stats i advise you not to worry about them all you'll have more fun in general. theres also a reset stats button as apart of premium which doesnt erase them at bottom, but the top enlarged section will only show the stats from that point

Because that's an punitive administrative function that EA\DICE does to identified boosters and cheaters en masse roughly once per quarter.  If they responded to the plethora of reset requests individually they would do little else.  I do think that they should add some sort of reset function for people who wish to be reset but I do not expect that functionality to be added to BF3 this late in the game.
