Serial number not working

So I bought battlefield 3 last year or so and installed it, no problems. Since then however I had to reformat my computer and basically lost everything. Today I went to install battlefield 3 again and it told me the serial number has already been used. Since this is the original copy I have purchased and since it is going back on the same computer who do I need to contact to alleviate this issue?

  • The code was tied to your Origin account when it was redeemed as part of your first installation. If you would like to play Battlefield 3 again or in case you switched PC, all you have to do is download Origin again and all your games will be waiting for you in your games library.

So, if you remember your old Origin account details, log in and the game will be available again. In case you don't remember anymore, you can get in touch with one of our Game Advisors via live chat at https://help.ea.com/contact-us for assistance. They should be able to locate your old account if you can provide them with the product code. Unfortunately, due to security and confidentiality concerns we are not able to assist you with account or billing issues in a public forum.

I hope this can be resolved quickly for you, let us know if there are any further issues.

I used EAchat to solve the issue, apparently I was logging in with the wrong email.

Thanks Ronald for your help! :robotvery-happy:
