serious FPS spiking VisionTek AMD R9 380

Hi there my PC Spec do meet the recommended specs to run the game but I still get a serious FPS spiking that makes my gaming experience really not enjoyable. I get about 80 - 100s FPS but it will spike during the game to the low red 40s. Please if anybody has a fix let me know ASAP, as I've searched the internet and tried people's fixes with still no hope >_< \

CPU : Intel i5 @ 3.30GHZ

GPU : AMD R9 VisionTek 380

RAM : 8GB

  • Can you check to see if you have origin in game enabled (it's enabled by default) as it causes low FPS and sometimes lag. If it is enabled disable it and try playing again to see if the problem persists.

To turn off Origin in game log into Origin, in the upper left hand corner click on the word "Origin" in the menu, and then click on "Application Settings". Next go to the "Origin in game" tab and uncheck the "enable Origin in game" box.

Do you have any third party gaming software such as Raptr, Razer Cortex, MSI afterburner etc functioning while playing?
  • Yes, I use AMD Gaming Evolved App. I can play on High settings fine but when I turn on Ultra it will stutter. My graphics card is suppose to run Ultra. EDIT : Just exited AMD Gaming Evolved app and now playing on Ultra Preset settings on 64 Conquest Large The Block map and not a second of stutter yet. I'll continue testing it out :3 Thank you very much, hope this works. I'll mark it as a solution after a couple of games.

  • I'm sorry for not posting earlier but still the problem is not fixed >_< Nothing we can do about this because it's a Punkbuster issue aka EVENBALANCE. Apparently my message was sent to the studio but with no update on any fix from EvenBalance or Visceral Studios. I really wish I could play my favorite game with no FSP stutter but I'm really about to just give up....
