Server disconnected after round end

This is weird, from early April this year, every time when I finished conquer game in Battlefield 1, the server went down and noticed me that the server disconnected. Remember I said, EVERY TIME, and this is not the worst, just now when I was enjoying Oil of Empire, the server got disconnected once it was supposed to be loading the next map. This strange issue has bothered me for almost 1 month.

For now, I wish EA has to check the stability of all servers, or provide me any suggestion could cease this problem.

Would be interesting to know if that is affecting Operations only or any other mode.

If it's Operations only, try to avoid hitting ESC or making any adjustments in between rounds, that should help prevent disconnections occuring.

Nope, it happens in conquest as well.

I have the same issue, disconnected after almost every round with the same 'server disconnected' message. Game mode doesn't make any difference.

Happens about 6/7 seconds after being on the highlight screen, everything locks up, black screen and then server disconnected.

There is nothing wrong with my rig or connection as I when I am in-game everything is fine, other games play perfectly with no issues.

I made a troubleshooting checklist from here, reddit and other sources and it has fixed this problem for me. Here's my list of steps:

    1. Set up port forwarding:

    https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/connection-troubleshooting-advanced-pc/

    2. Clean install GPU drivers.

    3. Repair installation of BF1 through Origin.

    4. Make sure Origin and Battlefield 1 .exe run as administrator.

    5. Disable cloud save storage in Origin.

    6. Disable Origin in-game. (You still get the friends/party screen on the right hand side).

    7. If applicable, turn off DX12 in the in-game advanced video settings.

Hope it helps anyone else with this problem.

At first the cutscene begins to stutter, my GPU and CPU coolers go faster, then slower, then faster, ... then I get disconnected. I'd love to play the summer mission but I cannot participate as I cannot join ANY Operations game.

EDIT: I turned off DX12 and now it works!

  • Recently most of our servers in our region (I don't know about others) are shutting down after round end. My first thought was that it was just my connection - something like packet loss or high latency, but once I go back and search for that server it will only have under 10 players on a 64 man server. Once I join, everyone asks the same question. Is EA/DICE doing some server maintenance that we are not aware of or is EA/DICE aware of this issue we are experiencing.

These are the servers I am aware of that are having these issues.

    Server ID's:

    # 800610

    # 800762

    # 800621

  • It's now end of January 2018 and on XBox this is happening a lot at the moment. Check other threads and Twitter etc a lot of people are having same issues.
