Settings won't save

Hi I have a problem with my game since in reinstalled it, when I launch the game I have to change my settings (mouse sensitivity, audio, key binds, graphics, etc...) but when I leave the game to join another server I have to change the settings all over again, so I wanted to know if there is anyway to fix that issue ?

Thanks in advance.

That is probably why your settings default each time, there is no save file for them.

I would go and set both Origin and Battlelog to "Run As Admin", this should allow it permissions needed to create and edit the folder / files.  If you need steps on how to do this, let me know.

Go into your "My Documents" and find the BF4 Folder.  Delete the Settings folder and try launching again.  Since you deleted this, they will go to default, but they may stay the next time.

If this does not work, try setting both Origin and Battlefield 4 to "Run As Admin" in their settings.  This issue may be a permission error not allowing the game to change the file, and setting to "Run As Admin" will solve that if that is the case.  If you don't know how to set the programs to "Run As Admin" I can help walk you thru the steps if needed.

  • I went into my documents but there's no BF4 folder, just an EA Games but it's empty.
