Signed out of PSN when starting BF3

 I have an issue that I'm not sure regards to PSN or to the Battlefield 3 game itself but I'll give it a try. I purchased a premium version of the game yesterday, I had already owned the original but got this to download the maps etc. Ever since I downloaded and installed the premium version of the game I have a problem. When I turn on my ps3 I sign into PSN automatically without any issues. I can watch netflix, download items from the Playstation store etc. As soon as I start up Battlefield 3 I get signed out of PSN and recieve a dns connection error. Now I know it can't be an issue with my connection or modem/router because as soon as I exit the game I can sign back into PSN. I'm just wondering what is causing this error preventing me from being online while I am in this game, and what I can do to fix it. Thanks
