sorry for that, here's my spec:
intel i5 3570K (never been OC'd)
geforce gtx 660
2x4gb ddr3 1600mhz corsair RAM
700W PSU (bequiet!)
1tb seagate HDD
windows 7 home basic (64 bit)
GPU drivers - nvidia 331.82
full error message to be delivered once I see it again (few minutes should be more than enough)

Don't think those are the most recent drivers you have. You can check here to be sure http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
my bad, sir... got the recent one installed. Sorry to mistake you. Playing singleplayer ATM when/if any problems show up I'll let you know at once. Thank you for the help.
here's the message: "Nvidia driver 332.21 has stopped working" (not much of a help I guess) should I downgrade it or what?
Was it working fine with an earlier verion of driver? If so then go back to that one instead.
Oh, and when installing choose 'custom install' in the options to do a clean reinstall before installing the other one over it.
If you have any more probs after that then let us know.
