[SOLVED] A way to fix battlelog web plugins
For me, there was an issue when i was installing the latest plugin for chrome. It simply didn't install. Now when EA told me the usual list to fix it, and it didn't, i contacted a friend in EA and things led to things and i realized that it was a computer admin issue. For example, launch your chrome with admin privileges and re-download the plugin. This works right? However, that only works on admin chrome. Pull up the administrator version of chrome and the normal version. In both of them, type chrome://plugins . If you see that on the one that's running as admin there's a battlelog web plugin on it and on the normal one there isn't, then there's a fix out there. Here is what you do:
1. Open up your windows explorer.
2. Go to this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Battlelog Web Plugins\ (c:\ isn't fixed, for instance if you have a d:\ drive, you will type that.)
3. Go to the latest plugin version folder. (Example: 2.7.0)
4. In there you should find a file called ChromeHelper
5. Launch that file and press OK. (This will restart your Chrome)
6. Relaunch chrome and if it works, perfect. If not, you don't have this issue
Hope this helped anyone that needed it!
