Some of my games disappeared from origin

3 of my origin games disappeared today and I don't know why (Battlefield3 , Dead Space 3 and Crysis 2)

I tried to reload my games , relog , reinstall origin but the games still missing

What should I do ?

P.S: I'm sure I'm logged on my account and no-one know my password

1st Make sure you are logged into the account on which the game/s were registered.

There's a good chance Origin updated and you need to login again, but make sure you are logging in with the account info on which the game was regisutered.

If you're getting the "code already used" message, it means the game code has been registered.

Please make sure you have "Show: All Games" in MY GAMES selected. Have also a look at "Hidden Games" because manually hidden games will not appear in the "All Games" view.

Should you have issues with a recently bought game that is not showing up in your games list in Origin, then please take a look at this post first: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin/I-bought-a-game-but-it-does-not-show-up-in-Origin/m-p/54908#M951

Your game should show up in the "My Games" folder of the Origin account you used to enter the code. If your game isn't there, you're either logged into the wrong account or the game hasn't been activated yet. It can take a while. If it doesn't show up you'll need to contact a Game Advisor.

1 Click on the following link: https://help.ea.com/contact-us
2 Make sure you are logged in (top right corner)
3 Click on the blue button "Contact a Game Advisor"
4 Enter the name of your game or product (or "Origin" for account-related issues) and click "Find Solutions"
5 Select the type of issue and the platform you play on, and click on "Find Solutions".
6 Click on the blue button "I still need help" if the FAQ articles do not apply to your situation.
7 Select a contact option. Note that you may get different contact options depending on your country.

I had this happend and I have a string of games from Mass Effect 1-3 and now all my content is gone. I cant get an advisor and I am so royally ticked at my own stupidity for beleiving that EA would honor a game I have no receipt for. I can't re-enter a product code for a game I bought from you that you lost. This is truly a hostage situation and I can't do anything but complain about it.

I have same problem and in the Order email there is no game code which is required to activate the game :[ (Mass Effect 3 in that case)

Isn't that sad? The whole situation is because EA is protecting from piracy, but people pirating games have no such issues - they crack it anyway, so why EA is doing this to us - loyal customers?

  • same with me i had almost all of the expansions, but now the main game and all expasnsions execept world A, season, pets, and late night are gone ☹️

  • @crea7uraSimple.
You "bought" the game on a tier seller like G2A.
The original owner of the code, who bought the a physical copy of the game back in the day decided to redeem his code on his Origin account to have it available in his library without having to use the CD. The person saw that his code was used, contacted the support and proved that his code was stolen (because most of the codes are stolen on these websites), and since he his the true buyer, it's a simple order of priority and he just got his game back.
It happens that sometimes the codes you buy on tier-sites are already bought by someone else who has a physical copy of the game and can prove that the code is his. But if the game is not available physically, if the serial is not used, it can't be bought twice and have one of the owners taking it off the other since you both bought it the same way, though it can only be redeemed on one account. The games you buy on the Origin store just generate a new specific serial. I hope that makes sense.
That's why I would recommend buying games from the retailers.

I'm closing this thread to stop it being necroed.

If you have any issues with Battlefield 3 please make a new topic about the issues you are having and what kind of steps you have tried to solve it.
