I have been having the same issue for a few months now.
For reference purpose I play on the PS4.
I often have connection issues between my playstation and my controller, a very brief description of what happens is: When my HEADPHONES are plugged into the controller and I am playing multiplayer online every now and then (sometimes it happens all game for a few games) when I shoot a weapon, it's as if the controller can't handle it and my INPUTS lag out and freeze up for sometimes up to 10 second, I basically lose connection momentarily causing whatever controls were used at the time to happen continuously and gaining connection again shortly after.
I know this could be a seperate issue but I also think more then likely they could be linked because they both happen when my headphones are plugged into my controller.
I also have sprinting issues and I know many others in the ps4 bf1 community have this same issue.
Put simply my player just won't continuously sprint, I essentially have to spam the L3 button to get him to sprint, it is as if every little dimple or rock in the map will stop the sprinting sequence.
This is a very frustrating issue, for example if I am getting shot at if I go to sprint behind some cover my player sometimes just refuses to sprint/ move... resulting in death
This issue is ESPECIALLY bad with the cavalry class! I am completely unable to play cavalry because the sprint simply refuses to work, the horse will sprint for maybe 2 seconds before stopping.
This makes me believe this is a bug within the game, because I believe if it was the controller I would have equal problems with cavalry and infantry but cavalry is much much worst...
I know this is a long winded explanation of potentially two different issues, I have contacted PSN about these issues and they provide very little solutions other then restoring the playstation to factory. This really is a terrible solution though, could you imagine losing everything just for the problem to continue?
Anyways, thanks guys and look forward to discussing these issues further
