Well @Teal_Pipo_Fredo ,
Its probably wishful thinking to think the next BF game version will make it any better.
Because the game already facilitate all needed for great teamplay and collaboration.
But still you can be jumping up and down for long asking kindly for ammo or medics from relevant friendly player just in front of you or next to you, and still, they do nothing...
So expecting more from them in terms of collaborating for rewarding squadplay together, is probably a long stretch of faith, as they obviously do not even engage in the most basics of teamplay.
By playing for longer on the same few select servers, you will typically over time start to learn of other players. Those that do play in cohesive union as a team. And the loners, that are just lost cases in the wild...
You as a player can then simply just shuffle through the different squads on your team side, to join a squad of those playing/collaborating as you like.
If none, then you are free to create your own squad, and hopefully more likeminded will join you.
Another way is of course to join a squad of unknowns, where the squad lead has actually not set any squad objective. There you can then ask for the objective, and if squad lead is not responding, then squad lead will be assigned to you going forward. At least that way you may start out with a squad with some members from the get go.

I am sort of loner who try to play objective and work as a team while being muted (language barrier and personality issues). Sometimes I just give up because can't find squad leadership and start playing on own because no orders are given or followed. It's playful idea for me to "roleplay" in military setting of Battlefield so I am not personally goal orientated to my stats or it's secondary thing and rather boring.
I hope to get real life friend to play Battlefield with me when crossplay becomes a thing so there's a squad foundation between us. I also hope that Discord becomes available on consoles so we can keep things on private.

Thanks the the comm rose, there's really no need for mics, and if I find a decent teammate that understands objectives, how to use the comm rose and passes out ammo or health, I send them a GG message and friend request, I don't care about k/d, I like the cohesion of a good squad. DICE removed the lauguage barriers by enabling the player to communicate via the game itself. between team/squad messaging, and the mini map suppling icons, all the information is there for an informed squad/team to coordinate, support and win the game, no verbal interaction needed. Cheers

On console experience is rather isolated most of time because there's no text chat and players don't use commo rose often. Neither do they always follow orders or give them. Mostly random whimsical orders are given making it impossible to follow them systematically. Always being in wrong place in wrong time 😕
It's mostly full scale Anarchyfield ™ : players going their own way. Funny thing because armies rely on strategies, cohesion, tactics, co-operation etc. but community seems to be playing fantasy version of one man army edition. Maybe it reflects our disconnected society 🤔
