Hello EA community,I have recently experienced a problem just after the JackFrags Revision update was put in place. All the servers yield a much higher latency than usual (increase from 25 to 100+). I have battlefield1 on both PC and PS4 (yes i am dedicated) but this problem only appeared on my PS4. There is not a single green server on the server browser. I doubt it's my internet as my speed continues to be around 85 - 130. Your help will be greatly appreciated here, especially since your online chat hasn't responded for hours. I am in Toronto and even NorthAmerican servers produce this problem. What should I do?

Obviously I've tried these options,you really didn't read the dialogue to understand what i'm saying. On PC my connectivity is fine ive got great ping and just like what i'm used to.On PS4 it's always been excellent but as of the last update it's gone to *. I'm a premium user if that helps (doubt it), and my NAT type is 2 so that should be fine.The router works , the PS4 works, the PC works... according to deductive reasoning, the conclusion is that the fault lies within the connectivity between the PS4 and the BF1 EA servers for the PS4. And incase you didnt understand again, (this only happened after the latest jackfrags update).

OMG I have the same problem after JACKFRAG patch onPS4.I'm living in Toronto too and using the Rogers Ignite 500u (500MB down, 20MB down). Before the JACKFRAG revision, I have around 5-20 latency on east coast server and max 40 latency on west coast server.but since JACKFRAG, I have a few issues that made the game completely broken for me to play.1,I have 120-150 on east coast servers and about the same for west coast servers.2,I have 90-110 on European server, YES, I have better latency cross the damn Atlantic ocean.3,here is the kicker. last night when i Que for operations, I got dumped 5 straight times to European servers, FIVE TIME.4, and the 6 times I got dumped to a Mid-east server...I mean really? a mid-east server...what's next? the moon?I've tried everything, so people can save it please. I'm glad I'm not the only person who has it problem and took time to post it on forums. EA PLZ

I have done the whole EA help steps, called ISP.It seems that EA and certain ISP's can't work out a deal. From reading MANY posts, it seems to be localized to certain pockets or zones of ISP.I paid attention to posts regarding EASTERN US / Canada. Mainly media giants ISP's seems to be taking the hit. AKA Rogers and their network don't like to take the short way to EA's servers on the east coast.Paying 79.99 and then another 59.99 for the expansion, this is extremely disappointing.I've forwarded ports, sailed many ships, and even demilitarized many zones of guerrilla's. Please stop telling end users it is their fault for using certain isp's. FIX your stuff because in the end we are the ones paying for this software. And it is not delivering as promised. STOP throwing people under the bus and making them walk in circles. This is low. I feel like living in 1994. Wake up, or else we go back to Call of Duty. (not really!)

I even went so far as to replace my modem/router.All ports are open.Xbox and Router/Modem have been power cycled.Ping, DL and UL are all fine.Use to be able to find green bar servers on East Coast, now EVERYTHING is yellow.Problem is NOT on our end.Time to fix your problems....

And yes on all the other games the connection is great.

Why do you keep telling people to do this?We never had a problem with the game till last week?Iv owned bf1 since day 1 and have never had an issue till the jack frags revision so why all of a sudden would i need to mess around with opening portsThanks alot dice you bunch of stupid idiots,fix your friggin game

Never had a problem before this, I've had the game since it came out, why do I need to do all this fixing and going around things; seems like it's on EA's end not ours. I have no clue how to do the port stuff (anybody know a good idiots guide??), I'm not a tech guy at all, I just like to play a game that is currently unplayable.

Im getting the same hint as you, everything works well with the exception of battlefield 1 as of the last UI update (jackfrags) and now the problems still exist with westie revision. Pretty clear its something on EA's side as this only happened after jackfrags UI. right after the update.
Someone please let me know if theyve fixed it in anyway

Experiencing the same issue my ping signal was always 4-5 bars on US east. Now it's 3 or less with +100 ping in game I'm sure it's not my net as I play other games fine

Same issue here! I'm in the GTA (oshawa) and using rogers high speed (150 down/5 up) and have the same high ping issue. No problems with other games and a traceroute to google.ca shows a proper ping but it gets to 200ms+ when trying to ping east coast BF1 servers. Called rogers twice, this is 100% an ea server issue. Just spent an hour learning how to forward ports and got both PlayStation 4 and Bf1s ports forwarded and I still have the same issue. My game is now unplayable. I'll be seeking a refund soon if this can't be resolved. Have had more than my fair share of frustration over this.

Same issue here in Canada (Saskatchewan). Used to be 75-80 ping to all east coast servers, now it is 100+ for all...
