I love this music that never gets boring... still this game has the best maps and gameplay 10/10
I would pay any money for remaster battlefield3 for all console and crossplay...
BF2 was the best because it had fantastic maps, great music and fab expansions. 2142 comes a close second for those walkers podding up to the titans and the intense fire fights once your inside
3 and 4 I enjoyed the most. I still play 4 because its Hardcore is the best in the series, Dice ruined HC in BF1, they simply had no clue how to implement it. I did not bother with the mess of BF5.
Without a dedicated HC mode I will not play this game anymore.
Battlefield 2 for me. Series started getting silly when it jumped to multiplat.
Battlefield 2. No question. It's a masterpiece.
My earliest Battlefield was Bad Company but I then skipped straight 3 and onward. BF3 was incredible
For me it's not even a Dice game but the best was BF1942 with the Desert Combat Final Mod.
This mod was so good that no one played vanilla again.
This mod was so good they hired the modders to help make BF2.
So yea for me BF1942 with the DCF mod.
I mean come on launching Tomahawks from a sub and flying it to it's target.
I mean actual sea warfare sinking aircraft carriers with torpedos in the sub and land targets with the Tomahawks.
Imagine camping a flag but you know if there's a lot of people around there's probably a cruise missile inbound and you had to find a bunker fast.
BF 3.4 and 2142 were the best ones for me. Although BF1 had such a good cinematic atmosphere and experience sometimes in the midst of battle, and BF V had the best movement and gunplay.
BF1: beautiful infantry maps, interesting levolution type events i.e. giant Airship, weird weapons, great directional sound, awesome building destruction and the FPS was reasonable on regular a PC. Only spoilt by the talentless players using hacks.

2142, BF3, BF4 are the gems that have that 'something' that has just been missing from subsequent titles ......(I have played since BF2 and just havent't bothered with BF1 or BFV)
2142 has a very special place in my heart .....a Camp Gibraltar remake in 2042 portal would blow my mind 🙌
