the Russian Mosin-Nagant M91 as a standard issue rifle

Here are the standard issue rifles for the nations in the BF1 game (in Back to Basics, B2B game mode):
-Austrian-Hungarian Empire: Gewehr M.95 Mannlicher
-British Empire and Royal Marines: SMLE MKIII
-French Republic: Lebel Model 1886
-German Empire: Gewehr 98
-Kingdom of Italy: Russian 1895
-Ottoman Empire: Gewehr 98
-Russian Empire, White Army and Red Army: Mosin-Nagant M91
-United States of America: M1903 Springfield

I read this info about Russian Mosin-Nagant M91 rifle on the Bf1 fandom page:
https://battlefield.fandom.com/wiki/Mosin-Nagant_M91/Battlefield_1
"The standard issue rifle of the Imperial Russian Army. The Mosin-Nagant is one of the most produced rifles ever, with over 37 million made." — In-game description
The Mosin-Nagant M91 is also the standard issued Rifle for the Russian Army/White Army and Red Army in servers that allows Standard issued rifles and Back to Basics.
TRIVIA: The standard issue rifle for the Russian Empire is the Mosin-Nagant M91, originally changed from the SMLE MKIII in the November 2017 update.

However, in the BF1 game (Weapons and Gadgets screen), I can't find the Russian Mosin-Nagant M91 among the statistics of the standard issue rifles.
My question is that the Battlefield 1 tracks the Russian Mosin-Nagant M91 as a standard issue rifles?
For example, does it have a service star as a standard issue rifle?

yes, I also think it's worth downloading this "Battlestats" app.

I found another special gadget that is tracked by this app (the official Companion app/website and battlefieldtracker did not show the statistics):

    Russian Standard Grenade

    https://battlefield.fandom.com/wiki/Frag_Grenade/Battlefield_1
Battlefield 1: In the Name of the Tsar adds the Russian Standard Model 1912 Grenade for the Russian White and Red Armies.

This afternoon I will test whether this app really tracks the statistics separately.

  • Long time lurker here. Yes, the Mosin Nagant standard issue rifle does exist in game and is being used, but for some reason the kills and service stars aren't being tracked. So it's not possible to get service stars with it. Very odd.

@MrCostari I assume that's because it was added later with In the Name of the Tsar and Dice didn't enable the tracking.

@HUN_gattaca_lg Thank you for sharing that, that is very interesting. I downloaded that app and it does show I have just over a 100 kills with the Mosin Nagant standard issue rifle. So it is being tracked in the background. It also says I have a service star with it, however I know I never got a star for it ingame and after browsing through the app some more I can tell the app doesn't really understand how service stars work in BF1 because if you look at vehicles it will give you stars for each vehicle instead of a combined star for a vehicle class.
For example, I have 12 SS with attack planes but when I look at the Rumpler plane for example, which I have 300 kills with, it says I have 3 SS with that plane even though that's not how it works.
It seems like it gives everything a service star, even things don't have SS like the medical syringe for example. I only have 60 kills with that, but I look at it it does say 0 SS. So I bet if I had a 100 kills with it it would say I have 1 SS. Anyway, sorry for dragging this on for so long.

Another interesting thing this app has that can't be seen anywhere else, is more detailed stats for standard issue rifles, like shots fired, shots hit and headshot kills. Standard issue rifles aren't being tracked on BF1Tracker and ingame you can't see these 3 stats but on this app you can. So it's nice to know how many headshots I got with each standard issue rifle.

@HUN_gattaca_lg No, it does not. It doesn't track it at all, not even as frag grenade either. The stick grenade does that, but the russian grenade doesn't.

For me it says I have 0 zero kills but I know I have gotten kills with it.
