There's a Squad Leader Icon delay issue.

Well sometimes you have to point exactly at there head to see it that is the problem it is not a delay game does not registries that you are pointing at him that is the real problem

even after the new patch the problem is still there and its only the squad leader icons that dont show

That isn't a squad leader only problem, it's actually an intentional setting in hard core mode.  However as you have noted the number of team kills, especially at distance has increased  due to having to actually ID your target as friend or foe since the friendly icon is no longer persistent.  Unfortunately DICE has not said if they are keeping HC this way or reverting to the BF3 persistent icon yet.

no it is a squad leader only problem... every other friendly player icon shows up even when your not focusing on them like in bf3 its just the squad leader that has the icon missing

I play hardcore most of the time as well and have this happen every single day.

we dont always have the time to wait for a few seconds to get shots off if it is an enemy, no blue = dead

to help my identify enemy targets from friendly squad leaders (and yes it is always only SL) i just tag them; if my guy calls out an enemy, i pop him. if not, i try again for a positive friendly. but thats only when im out of view and undetected.

after reading the "top issue tracker" and not seeing this issue at all, I thought i should try getting the word out some more. 

Personally, this is the biggest bug in the game at the moment. 

Dice, please fix this bug, ALL squad leaders are victim of friendly fire in hardcore mode !

This is a serious bug that should be easy to fix.. so why isn't it prioritized? Doesn't the developers actually play the game? Do they not listen to the community?
