This Code has already been used

Bought Bad company 2 on steam, cannot activate with origin as with an error saying "This Code has already been used"

I have not activated this key before

i am also contacting steam about this code problem

    Go to following website and activate your code there. If you still have this issue, you need to get in contact with your retailer and ask for an replacement. If you had an old EA ID connected to the game but linked to a different e-mail address, get in contact with one of our Game Advisor.

  • The hyperlink has been redirected to https://www.origin.com/nz/account 

    where I clicked "Redeem Product Code"

    I entered my code in and got this error message

    "We're sorry, this code cannot be redeemed here. Please redeem your code at the following site:https://activate.ea.com/applyentitlement.doFAQ"

     

     

    this also redirected me to  https://www.origin.com/nz/account 

     

    as previously, I have already tried to activate the "Bad company 2" CD key through the origin client

    and steam has requested that I talk to you about this as it is your product

    EA stop bullcraping around,and at least get off your lazy butts and do something

    So what was the solution? Did EA give you a new key?

  • No, they seem to have stopped contacting me after they told me to get it sorted through steam

    I replyed to them and have been waiting for a response

    Guys, if you are not able to activate your game via Origin or our activation website, you will need to get in contact with one of our Game Advisor. I can totally understand that you want direct help here in Answer HQ, but we are a public and community driven board. We are just not able to handle code issues here as we are not performing any kind of account actions. It is a place for gamer helping each other with mostly technical issues.

    However, you need to contact our support team regarding your code issues.

    I had tried your solution, but the same situation happened. When i contact the retailer who sold this disk to me, His respond was the EA problem, and ask me to wait for the solution of EA. But i don't think so the problem will be fix automatically.

    EA, Please reply AS SOON AS POSIBBLE.
