Unable to download browser plugin - SWEET JESUS PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME

I'm trying to update my browser plugin but when I try to click 'Open Game Manager' nothing happens. The blue icon in the top right area of the browser is also unclickable.  I've been trying for a week to get in contact with someone at EA but their live chat option is never available to me. 

I've tried reinstalling BF3, reinstalling Origin, repair installing BF3 through origin, deleting plugin files and what I think was a redownload, and opening all the BF3  and Origin PC ports. I'm not sure where I stand at this point. I haven't been able to play BF3 in a month or longer. Really hoping I could get an EA rep to identify my problem and suggest something. 


Anyone know why I'm not able to contact someone via Live Chat? Are there specific EST hours I have to contact by?

    Download and install the latest Battlelog Web Plugin from this link http://battlelog-cdn.battlefield.com/public/download/

    Advised that you restart your computer system after installation.

    Good news, the link worked and I was able to download the latest plugin. Though things still arent working. 

    There are still problems going on with the browser. The friends menu on the right hand side is unclickable. Also, none of the servers are showing a ping. I can't tell which game I have a better connection to.

    What is the issue? Are there any programs available the bypass the web browser?
