Unable to launch BF3 from Chrome, Firefox, or Origin

I can not get Battlefield 3 LE to launch from Origin, Firefox, or Chrome.  If I open the game in Origin, it goes to chrome, but I get an eternal blue bar at the bottom saying that the game is launchi...

    Try switching to plugin free launching as shown below:
