Unable to launch BF3 on PC
Hi, fist time playing BF3 on PC. I start by opening Origin. Then I go onto chrome, login to Battlelog for BF3. I then try to launch the campaign and am stuck in 'Initialising'. I have the same issue ...

@ChrisM127 Chrome\Chromium based browsers are the issue here. In order to launch BF3 without issue I have to use Internet Explorer (not Edge as it's Chromium based) and then go into Battlelog settings and choose to use the plugin to launch BF3 and not the plugin free method. After doing that BF3 launches normally for me almost 100% of the time.
@ragnarok013 Sorry, but no such luck, I've tried IE as well and nothing is working. I made sure to untick the box telling me to use the plugin free launch. Both campaign and MP still not working, I get the same issues as before, stuck forever on joining with the aforementioned errors from time to time. I noticed on various screenshots I've seen that people tend to have some sort of button in the top right to download the plugin, which I cannot see. Also, at no point does the BF3 programme icon even appear in my bottom tray. It's like it can't even start the game.

Go into ure Battlefield 3 files and go to "_Installer" then please make a screen of ure "InstallLog" + "InstallerData" then I can make an comparison with my files.
Before u do that please try the "Celanup" and "Touchup"!@Aloisdidnothing here are pastebins of the two files

I went to the folder and ran the Cleanup and Touchup executables, however, when I click yes to run them, literally nothing else happens, so unsure if that was the expected result or not.
