Unable to spawn or respawn - update your Punkbuster

For players who suddenly find them selves stuck in the loadout screen unable to spawn after the last patch, updating your Punkbuster version to the latest release often solves the problem. Go here...

I haven't seen the problem repeat itself on my rig or my friend's rigs once we reinstalled PB, but I will keep an eye out for additional methods to solve it if you keep receiving this error.
