Dear EA DICE,
Battlefield 1 doesn't recognize my USER.CFG file. I got GTX 980 Ti + 4770K. And on the Trial version (10 hours long) my game crashed like 8 times. Enabling/disabling Dx12 didn't help. So I wanted to make a custom USER.CFG file, starting out by showing the FPS counter with command, 'perfoverlay.drawfps 1'. The game loads in into the Homepage, but soon as I joined a server, the FPS counter disappears. I noticed this by my ingame FPS counter. It disappears every time when I load a game and doesn't come back unless I completely Quit the game and reload it back from Origin. Then again after loading/joining server online it disappears. Logic tells me that the whole USER.CFG file gets rejected. I just put in one command line, for showing FPS to test. I deleted the USER.CFG file, with and without, every hour the game Crashed. I don't have this problem with Hardline or BF4. Where I never use user.cfg. But I guess something in the ingame engine need to be disabled or killed in my chase and probably many others.
Hope to hear from you guys soon, as the release date is very close! 18okt :D
