Well, of course they could do a lot.
And yes, there are multiple dogtags out there from previous events that could be redone every year.
But the word "could" doesn't really mean that there will be something happening. Just sayin.
On one side, the point of unlocking something special during a Event ect. is that it should be something exclusive that player can show off which have been there or doing something.
If you keep repeating something like that over and over again, at some point most likely everyone will have it and this of course kills the exclusivity of those items.
Even tho they gave more chances for the Zodiac dogtags back then.
Second thing is, don't expect too much happening regarding this.
As games get older, at some point the support for certain things around this games get lower or even ends as some people from the Teams move forward and have to like work on future projects ect. 🙂

@Its_Travis_199hey bro,
when people read your words they will feel that the game is dead but it's very active more than any time before actually.
Thank God people still buy it till now and that's mean new people join the game so in my opinion they should add new events and zodiacs as well.
it's old game but masterpiece.
with all my respect for you but your words killing the game not to me but to the new people who bought the game and come to answer HQ to find help with their new game.
anyway i'm sure that this lcommunity is for helping players (customers) and to improve battlefield games not to kill it.

That doesn't mean a game is dead, servers to play on will still last llike forever. Even BF3 and BF4 is still being played alot.
I miss a few things myself in BF4 which i never again got the chance to get later one, and i played this title for 3600h.
BF4 and BF1 were both a 10/10 for me.
It's just a fact that support will get less over time as older as games get and newer ones from a franchise come out the Teams have to take care of too.
It's more just like about that topic to not expect too much new content or any bigger events ect. to not be too disappointed if nothing is coming.
Nothing is 100% tho. 🤭

DICE/EA made this community to give us the hope. community managers actually doing good work hete sending our thoughts.
we should never get disappointed we should just enjoy the great work the did for us 🙂- Its_Travis_1994 years agoHero+
I know.
But i also know people that always expect everything to happen as they wish for and then be highly disappointed if it's not happening. On top of this then they're mad at the Team and saying like they're not doing things for the Community.
That's why i mentioned like, better stack your expectations lower cause then you're more happy if you get surprised in a positive way. 🙂

Dogtags are special in special time. BF series is hard to get special -time dogtags again if you miss them. However, we could hope great scrap exchange and rare melee weapons: arditi dagger, coupe coupe, etc. Like bf3 and bf4, they released 1911 for players (bf3) and the bow in community map (bf4).

Please also consider the dogtags and adding special events. Make the thread up, brothers!

My expectations are guarded. I’ve worked my whole life in sales at the retail, wholesale, and manufacturing end of it. I know what the customer would like and what can actually be provided are not always even close. Plus, my son worked at EA Games; so, I have a little insight in their corporate culture.
Not every thing that the customers want is possible; but, as we are seeing in the exchange skins, if enough customers express a desire then the sellier will try to accommodate.
No doubt some gamers are actually spending real money to get the rare skins. Sunday I would imagine that gamers that haven’t earned enough credit this week to purchased rare skins will resort to their credit cards. And rightly so; because EA Games should’ reap some reward for spending payroll to maintain the game we love.
See you on the battlefield.
