Very low fps BF3

Last week I started playing Bf3 with some friend and after a while when i joined another server i got 1-2 fps until the game finally crashed. I kept trying but nothing happened so I checked with BF4 which was running perfectly, and also with BFH which also went well. So i figured the issue was within the BF3 files and I reinstalled it but the issue came back again.   If anyone knows anything please help

  • Ok first i would like to inform you that after working on the issue for some time, I managed to solve by doing the following:
i went to Origin and deactivated origin in game, i think there must be an issue that came up with the latest update

After that my game run really smooth i think you guys should look it up because i see many posts about it through out the forums

Thanks for the overall help 🙂

Could you please tell us some details about your PC hardware? This would help our community to investigate your issue in order to find possible workarounds.

At first, please check your latest video-card driver and check what version of the origin client is installed on your computer. Install the newest driver for your video card. Re-install Punkbuster as well as update the driver for your network card. Clear your browser cache and/or try a different browser. Reinstall your webplugins for battlelog.

Please let us now, if this problem after this workaround still exist.

    Cheers

    Basti

  • can you help me i disaple the origin in game but not solve my problem. i have high end PC. the FPS 70-60 FPS despite on ultra or low ghraphics settings. i updeate all drivers. repair BF3. but not usefull. the other game works perfectly at 144+ FPs

  • @wissam_350 hey try this:
    1. try an FPS Booster they are allowed
    2. Try the game in windows mode
    3. when u have NVIDIA or AMD go to the app and add the game there it can be on new graphics cards that they see battlefield 3 only as an 2D Model when u add it in the NVIDIA or AMD App it should be solved.
    4. Make a clean restart of your computer and try to turn on all programs step by step to see if there is anything playing against each other

I'm closing this thread to stop it being necroed.

If you have any issues with Battlefield 3 please make a new topic about the issues you are having and what kind of steps you have tried to solve it.

For low FPS in BF3 make sure your windows 10 is on the latest update. There where an issues with older versions of Windows 10 and Battlefield 3 when it comes to FPS.
