When will Battle field start using modern weapons and more modern war fare ??

I hope it never happens.. Please lets not turn Battlefield into Call of Duty with all those rainbow colours.. I can see player wearing neon pink from miles away lol. :D

As so far every version of Battle field only uses world war one or world war 2 weapons , tanks and planes !! But we are getting tired of the old game play and need a major up grade to keep Battle Field the number one most played and best war game to play online either solo or multi player styles . And single player needs more missions then what is on there now .

Quite a few of the games have been "modern", such as Battlefield 3 and 4. Battlefield 2042 is slightly in the future, but uses a lot of current day stuff, albeit there are some that don't exist currently. Moreover, the next Battlefield looks pretty modern too. 

There is apparently going to be a campaign in the next game, but the focus for Battlefield has been multiplayer for a substantial length of time now, so it may not be very long. However, not much is known about it at the moment.

And multiplayer online needs voice chat and more maps then just 3 or 4 maps

I'm confused by this as all the current titles have voice chat and more than 4 maps. I guess you mean open comms and no playlists?

Plus there needs to be if there's a vehicle  in the game then you can use it no matter what it is . Suck as cars / trucks / atv's / motor bikes /boats or even bicycles . 

I don't think this will happen realistically as vehicle choice is quite often determined by gamemode and map. Often for balance reasons. 

Ha haa ! What I was meaning about bringing battle field up to modern times was the weapons are currently still old world war 2 style .  As for 2024 battle field that is  just a clone of Call of duty and that is why it sucks mud to play .

As for play able maps  those are only for PC  game play and very few for XBOX   players .

Yes I know theres a lot of custom maps made by pc players but most xbox players don't have access to them .

And yes there needs to be a better tool used to get rid of online gamers using cheat codes as a lot of PC  players are using cheat codes . So if your using cheats then you should get a perm ban from online play .

BF 4  still rules as best   game ever and to me the only BF  that can be called  BATTLEFIELD

The weapons available will be dependent on the time period a specific game is set in. So, a game set during WW2 will use weapons from that period, whereas a game with a modern setting will use modern weapons.

The choice of vehicles will depend on the game mode and usually it's for balance reasons. There are usually more than enough at any one time from my experience.

BF1 and BFV as set in WW1 and WW2 respectively, so they will only have access to weapons from those eras. There are plenty more modern Battlefields than just BF4 - there's BF3, Hardline, Battlefield 2, Bad Company 1 and 2, and Battlefield 2, for example.

No disagreement from me. I like single player games. However, chances are that the next campaign will be a one-and-done. We'll just have to wait and see.

BF2042 had 128 player maps and, personally, I think proved that bigger isn't always better. I'm not opposed to larger maps if done well, though.

While I don't have much direct experience with cheating, I have heard that EA anti-cheat is doing a pretty decent job. There is also a report system if anyone slips through the cracks. It's not perfect by any means, but at least it's another option.

THE 2042  with 128 Players  is not what I ment about bigger maps !! Oh sure that amount of players is okay !

 But the size of  the maps are too small  for that many players which means everyone is so close on the maps your in constant battle zone . And that makes game play too rushed and more like old Call of duty  so  solo players  never get much of a chance to do any missions and survive 

As for people using cheat codes well they turn the cheats on then log into 2042  and the ANTI CHEAT system does not find them at all . So only if  a player finds some one using cheats and reports them then their never caught by Anti  cheat System . And it is the same as playing Call of duty as players turn on the cheats then log in and never get picked up by Anti cheat System . Why is the Anti cheat not picking up on these attachments to The games ??

You probably have no idea how this thing works.. As soon as anticheat find new way to detect cheaters cheat developers will find new way to bypass it. It is like cat and mouse.. Never ending battle

LOL  Yes I  know how the cheats work and all so know it is those same people with the super high scores on  any Battle field game  . And it is also the same on Call of duty . Most often they are the same people who are posting on U-tube about all the secret's or how to complete a  mission on battle field . Just the same as on Call of duty .

As for modern weapons BF 3   is old weapons . Only bf 4 and 2024 are modern .

As for hard line that was a piece of crap from design to game play and should never even be called battle field .
