i am looking for a 100% safe download for battlefield 1942 or any of the old battlefield games. can anyone give me a link to a safe 100% working download please. i just want to play the old battlefield games. i want to play it on windows or mac if possible.

I have come to the conclusion that updating the version from Origin will not update to the current 1.6.19
Think its a better idea to go on ebay or amazon and purchase a copy on disc. that way you can update and play the game.
The update from the links here do not work on the version from Origin which is a shame. EA are losing out on revenue even if the majority don't play the game but then again if people don't know the game even exists let alone the company showing lack of support for the product that made the franchise.
if you have a Origin version of the game you can patch it up so it work on online again
