Hello @Mikes360JTAGS,
Generally, servers are being shut down as players are gradually transitioning to newer titles. This game, being over 13 years old, has seen its player base diminish.
Best regards,
danisoff
@danisoff The player count on both consoles remained steady for years now so that’s not
news to me. Still a number of full servers are going for it during evenings and weekends .
Every active server is rented by players! So I do not understand the need to shut everything down.
This is senseless and unnecessary. I strongly vote against this. BF3 needs to be up indefinitely as it’s the best battlefield game ever!

Also The Xbox 360 and PS3 are 3 console generations ago so EA likely thinks their money should be spent elsewhere on modern console support. I think the servers should stay up as long as there are players but EA is a publicly traded for profit company and likely wants to eliminate expenditures where they can.

EA should not touch the Battlefield games. There are several EA servers still running on these old platforms with very few if any players. Shut those down but leave battlefield be.

They definitely shouldn't touch them, ive seen as many as 6 full servers at once on Xbox and people paid money for these games especially for multiplayer and now they are out as well as purchasing upgrades on the store now lost everything. EA will likely start taking big loses in the future unless they change their ways.

Its all about the money. Servers cost nothing to run but of course if it works then they can't sell you a new game.
Make sure to go get your new EA game!!!
As like many have said, "I have purchased my last EA product and will never buy from them again".

These are facts.
