Why are you marking threads solved when clearly the issue isn't?

Seriously do you want to save this pathetic beta or are you just hoping 10 people buy it by pretending issues are solved when it only worked for 1/100 people. I will not throw 60 bucks on a broken game I still can't launch. Guess you guys want to take home 2014 worst company award before the new year starts eh?

  • I don't think you understand how Answers HQ works.

This is roughly how it can go:

    1. User have a problem
    2. User search though help.ea.com and here on Answers HQ for a solution and can't find it.
There might be people with the same problem, but those solutions don't help.
    3. User writes a detailed description of the problem and what he have tried and finds solution for his/hers perticular problem with help from other users
    4. User rewards people who helped with XP and marks the solution that helped him

I also think you are confusing a beta with a demo - beta's a ment to have errors, you are ment to find them so EA can fix them, if there were no errors there wouldn't be a beta.

So, yes, you will se solutions that doesn't work for you, that's per design - nobody is saying that all the causes for the error are solved, only the individual case.

So basically instead of keeping ONE SINGLE THREAD alive to help everyone out with the issue you want us to keep remaking threads for the same issue and only help one person at a time? Oh wait EA is somewhat **bleep**ing retarded so I guess that makes sense. I've already said this in another thread but Carbonic would you consider a game BETA that can't even launch? Like seriously the game does not launch for HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of people. This is by no means anywhere NEAR a BETA.  That's like saying hey guys we got a movie in beta stage so test it out, oh wait I can't even watch the movie.

You will win no friends here with that unpleasant attitude.  We are game players here,  We do not need to make any sorehead types happy.  We discuss a game problem between ourselves.  We cannot cure the cause for the problem because we have no access to the raw, uncompiled code.  A solution is what works this time, for that message author's individual problem,

We do the best we can, but there's no pretense that *WE* are "tech support".  That exists, it is on EA Help, and those people are in fact in contact regularly with the developers.  The frontline troops there are Game Advisers.  They can an do complie official FAQs, and post those for your reference on the Help Center's website.

You can recognize the difference between what Help Center is, and what AHQ is, and deal with how things are, or you can become a pariah.

Actually, if other people's solutions don't work and you have to make your own thread, then you actually have a different problem but just with the same symptoms. This means there's a seperate thread for each problem just like you like it but are just to stubborn to see.

And yes, for such a big game, running a new graphics engine and backend systems, there will be some that can't run the game. Let's say 10.000 can't launch the game and 4.000.000 are trying the beta, that means 0.4% out of 100.00% can't run the beta, that's something that's hard to test in small scale unless you have way over 10.000 test rigs lying around.

The movie comparison just shows me you don't know anything about programming large scale systems.

I know you are itching to try BF4, but that's no reason to act like a 7 year old not getting the toy he wanted for Christmas.
