Why doesn't my BF3 show a battlescreen option?

I got a free copy of Battlefield 3 as part of Origins free game program. For some reason it doesn't show me a Battlescreen option anywhere in the battlelog. The bottom blue bar only shows servers and...

BF3 does not have a battle screen functionality, that feature was added to Battlefield 4 and they did not go back and add it to earlier Battlefield games.  Your free copy of BF3 is exactly the same as all other copies that people purchased.
