Why downloading Aftermath Update twice?

    Showing the patch notes while downloading this humongous thing would have been an excellent idea, but we all know that EA is anything but innovative.

Hi guys,

You have previously downloaded a 3.9 GB update, not the expansion pack. What you're downloading now is the DLC itself.

If thats the case why is there no patch notes? and it seem odd that both update and expansion just happen to be the same size.
