Xbox 360 Multiplayer data corruption

Hello,

I currently play Battlefield 4 on the Xbox 360. I attempted to log in and play some multiplayer on Friday, 01/03, to take advantage of the Premium Event that was delayed. When i jumped into my first match, all of my progress had been reset. This has happened before and fixed itself after logging out and logging back in. I attempted this fix twice and it did not fix itself. The third time I tried it, my Xbox 360 froze on my while loading the match. I turned it off and turned it back on, and then restarted the game. My system then told me my singl-player and multi-player data had been corrupted and would not be available. The system then required me to do the full start-up process again, including sizing my screen. I attempted to restart several times and was provided the same message each time. When I finally accepted the message, my progress is still there. I still show my current rank and unlocks. I logged into a match again and it was all gone. I reset again and logged onto the BattleLog while I waited. All of my information is correct on BattleLog and all of my unlocks are there. I changed something and re-saved, hoping it would send the informaiton and show up correctly. I logged into a multiplayer match again and it was still gone. I backed out and started a Test Range round. All of my information is there and everything I have unlocked is available. Clearly my informaiton has not been corrupted and is perfectly fine on my system, as it shows up in Test Range. Clearly my informaiton has not been corrupted on BattleLog. Therefore, the issue must be on your servers. Please let me know how to get this corrected so that I do not have to start over. Honestly, if this can't be fixed I may be asking for my money back on Premium and selling my copy of Battlefield 4. As much as I think it is a far superior game to Call of Duty, at least with COD I don't have to worry about losing my progress.

  • It sounds like you have had a server sync error. Fear not your multiplayer data and stats are stored on DICE's servers and are still all there and will eventually return. I know how frustrating it is not to be able to play with this kind of error but there is noting that you can do on your end to solve this problem so just keep checking back in game and your data will be there eventually.

I appreciate the heads up. I assumed it would come back since it always has before, but in the meantime I am missing out on the Premium events and wasting my time playing Call of Duty instead. I guess I should stick with Diablo 3, Splinter Cell, and Assassin's Creed for now. Or maybe I will go back to Skyrim! 😕mileysurprised:
