I've installed and uninstalled Update 3, Multiplayer Update 3, Update 4 and AK about 4 times today and whenever I join a game it says This disc is unreadable and kicks me out. What do I do to fix this?

When i put in either of the multiplayer or singleplayer discs, i get to the screen where you have to press start. When i do, the screen goes black and i hear the dashboard open up. Then i open the disc tray and i see a flash of an error saying that the disc is unreadable. All of my other games don't do this and it is with both Battlefield discs, which are both only 1 1/2 months old and have no scratches. Any ideas on what to do? And dont say get a ps3, i have an xbox because i have more friends on there. Any help is appreciated!

Purchased this for XBOX360 for my son, and he told me the multiplayer disk would not read, but the campaign was fine, no problems. So we took it back, got another copy (both were brand new) and same deal- game locks up- "disk is unreadable." What's the deal? All other games play perfectly fine on his XBOX, no glitches. HELP!!!

This seems to be a more common problem with the XBOX360, you could try to remove all battlefield 3 related content(EXCEPT THE ONLINE PASS) from the xbox before starting the multiplayer.

Ever since I downloaded the multiplayer 4 update when I try to load battlefield on my 360 it tells me my disc is unreadable after I press start at the main menu. Help please I rarely have problems and would like to get back in the game before Armored Kill is released. I have tried restarting my Xbox, resetting my router, and I even took my disc to get buffed.

THE SOLUTION
Hey guys I had the same issue! The only soluton I now of is that you have to get your BF3 disc out and try to remove any dust within the Xbox itself! (Use high pressure air cans THEY ARE CHEAP DO NOT USE A VACCUM). There is one problem though...You will not be able to play BF3 within 1 or 2 weeks my xbox took over 2 months to work again with the BF3 disc...

Obviously the guy with THE SOLUTION is tking about something else since that is not THE SOLUTION to this problem.
Clean drive. Clean Disc. Plays all other games just fine.

I did not see this thread pviously or I'd have joined it.

Has EA reponded to anyone about this problem?
I have had trouble ticket in for 2 months regarding the issue starting in Update 5.
At Update 6 it is now immediate and unplayable.
Ea has NOT responded.

I have the same problem, but only with Gulf of Oman. I get the disc is unreadable error when trying to load that map. My Xbox is only 3 months old and I've never had any issues with any other disc. I've scoured the internet for a solution and cannot find anything. Please, EA, fix this.

Should this be a class action lawsuit? We paid good money for a product tha is unusable.
