Such a good game plagued by this issue. I've been reading up and down the forum and other websites, this is a persistent issue that is not being acknowledged and corrected. I hate how troubleshooting and temp fixes is all that's being offered. I mean is it impossible for EA or Maxis to do internet research and see that the issue is not related to Mods or system specs? It only took me 2-3 days or alternate reading in different forums to figure out.
Little glitches here and there are accepted, but a bug that makes a game unplayable is too much!
