This issue has been resolved. I figured it out myself. The XboxOne audio settings had to be changed from 7.1 uncompressed to Stereo uncompressed (Settings/Display & Sound/Digital Audio/HDMI audio/Stereo uncompressed). Not sure how this got changed. This was not a game flaw (I think). All good now.

This totally worked for me, thanks so much. I never thought to check my Xbox settings because I have no issue like this in any other game. Switching to Stereo Uncompressed did the trick, thanks.
