You can still purchase skins you own

Product: Battlefield 1
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug I'm not sure that this is a bug or a quality of life improvement, but seeing as how purchasing multiple skins has no use to a player (it would in fact, be detrimental for your scraps balance), I'm posting it here. The issue is that you're still able to purchase skins that you own from the Exchange. For instance, you can see from the image below that I already own the Hummingbird skin for the Kolibri pistol. However, when I left click on it to make it larger and inspect it, there's option to purchase it. I've accidentally pressed purchase before and it was quite a bit annoying. You shouldn't be able to purchase weapon skins that you own. The only multiples that you can purchase should be squad XP boosts and puzzle pieces. Everything else should not have a purchase button for it.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to Battlepacks > Exchange, and click on a skin that you already own.
What happens when the bug occurs? It will ask you if you want to purchase it with scrap, instead of simply saying that you already own it.
Please select your region North America
In what game mode did the bug occur? Operations
AMD or Nvidia Model Number
Enter RAM memory size in GB

  • I agree that it is a silly option to have. But looking at the scraps system removing this feature would simplify things a bit too much and it would be too static. A real annoyance is when like you said click on the wrong option because of this. To avoid this and speed-up overall navigation i use the Esc. key whenever in doubt. It is no solution to the problem but opening 1500 lootboxes is also quite a mind numbing experience so its a modular thing.
