Hard to say what could be causing it completely, though in my experience DX12 caused a few issues like that and would disconnect me from games as would alt-tabbing during the loading screen. Regarding the Firewall / Anti-virus (depending on whichever you use), you probably don't want to turn it off but instead whitelist Battlefield 1 and Origin to allow them full access.
DX12 gives me terrible performance so i never use it, but i did test with and without it....same deal.
I have my firewall on all the time and opened all traffic for origin and BF1, turning the firewall off was a troubleshooting exception.
I tried not alt tabbing when loading into a map, and i tried alt tabbing, i tried windowed mode and borderless mode....nothing works.

Sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing.
Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling Battlefield 1, and making sure you are able to play Operations?
Also, I suggest trying to "Join any Operation" from the Operations Screen, instead of selecting a particular Operation.

Thanks. i tried reinstalling, and it's still the same, so i reopened my ticket with the tech support team, and they told me a specialist will contact me.
i will also try the "join any operation" button next time, though that's not a very optimal solution if it works :/

I'm sorry to hear that you are still experiencing Issues.
I would try the "Join Any Operation" Option, and see if you are able to get into Operations.
If that is not possible, I would also check your router settings, and open any Ports that are required for Battlefield 1 as well.
Again, I'm sorry that you're still having issues.
Give these options a shot, and see if they work.

I did try all that.
I changed my router, enabled UPnP and NAT, tried my ISP's and Google's DNS, Disabled the router firewall and and on my computer, tried repairing the game client, tried updating graphics drivers (some people said this worked for them), tried windowed mode and borderless, and when all else failed i tried reinstalling......none of those worked

- yesterday they told me a specialist would contact me via email, but hasn't yet done so.
