AA Tanks are useless against planes?

Exactly. After the patch that increased the overheating rate of AAs, i can only take down planes with the aid of friendly aircrafts or another AA tank.But then i can only get kill assist. I can only do 60 damage to planes, tops. It doesn't matter if you try to move away from the incoming plane or not. The spin of the gun is not fast enough to keep up to its movement.When you re-aquire the target, it's far away and you are probably dead. Before said patch, pilots had to since drop bombs from up high, in a distance at which the AA vehicles or stationary weapons were not able to reach them. Now they don't even need to do that anymore.

I recorded a video about this long ago, explaining the problem. In it, i was firing at a plane that was targeting me (only me) and the pilot flew the Stuka so low and close to me that a nearby tank could take him down. At that time, i was using the AA Valentine with the 3 barrel gun, "good" for taking down aircrafts and i could only do about 60 damage. Unfortunately, i had to delete the video.

In summary, my frustration about this cannot even be measured with the amount of words used to explaning it. I only use AAs for infantry as well or for completing assignments. But i doubt that DICE is going to address this matter again, since they have "reworked" the damage system to planes and no one talks about it anymore.

What you guys bring up is what is discussed here in the BF forums and what I refer to as a broken " rock paper scissours principle". AA needs to be able to reasonably overcome aircraft, that is the whole point of its existence.
