All weapons unlocked on start

Hi,

I just bought the game recently for ps4. I went directly online since I played the other battlefields before. But when I got online I noticed that every single gun is unlocked and that I can play with these. After doing some research I don’t think this is meant to be like this. It takes the challenge out of the multiplayer for me. Can I fix this somehow and is this a known bug? I did play the free launch version a while back if that matters.

    If you purchased the definitive edition, you'll have everything unlocked. I don't believe there is a way to relock those guns for you; you'll just need to use some will power and work your way up to them (or buy thr more expensive regular edition on a new account, unfortunately)

    I see I did indeed bought the definitive edition. Not sure why they would unlock all the guns from the start seems kinda lame. But thank you for your respons. I guess I can somehow find peace with it  if I have the same odds as the other players who also have that edition.

    Yeah its because you brought the definitive edition I got battlefield V on my ps4 with my EA pass I played for a while on the standard edition had to unlock everything then when i brought the definitive pack from the armory it then unlocked everything for me
