Assignment "Assault Proficiency I" is not progressing / completing

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? ?
What happens when the bug occurs? The damage counter does not progress ("Deal 2,850 points of damage"). The Assignment does not complete after achieving 12 kills in a round ("Kill 12 enemies in a round").
What should be happening instead? It should complete the Assignment after 12 Kills and count the damage dealt.

As stated above, the Assignment "Assault Proficiency I" does not progress or complete for me. The "damage counter" is stuck at about half the damage. So i tried to get the 12 kills in one round, because it would show me the progress on that one. Did the 12 kills and got the in-game pop-up that the Assignment has been completed. Then i got an error message at the summary screen and back at the main menu the Assignment is still active. I tried restarting the Game / PC, turning the Assignment off and on again. No Progressing and no completion. Then i contacted EA Help (Live Chat) where i was told to clear my cache (https://help.ea.com/en-in/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/). Still does not work. So yeah, any help would be much appreciated.
