Hi! I have an issue with Battlefield 5 and Discord app. The thing is that when i start BF5, it grabs microphone in a monopoly mode and Discord is not able to use it anymore.
I don't have that problem at any other game, including BF4 and BF1.
I use a webcam mic. If i replug the device, for about a minute Discord is able to use mic, but then BF5 takes it again.
Ingame VOIP is disabled.
Have anyone had this issue and what are possible solutions?
Maybe it helps to update the sound driver. Also have a look the sound options tab in Win10 configuration. There in tab number 4 'advanced' i have all options on. Maybe changing the exclusive mode to OFF can help?
1. Right click on the Sound icon on your bottom right.
2. Click on Recording devices
3. Right click on the microphone.
4. Click on the Properties
5. Click on Exclusive mode

I've set Discord voice activity sense level to the lowest value, didn't help either ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This functionality does not exist in Windows 10 versions 1809 and earlier.
Very sad and a big miss by Microsoft. EA would have to bypass this to make it easier for players i presume. The only thing you could check is the C:\Users\*yourprofile*\Documents\Battlefield V\settings\PROFSAVE_profile_GstAudio.VoipOn 1 make sure this is set to 0 (zero not O).
