  • Hey, @Pikxl would it be possible for you to upload the Dxdiag to AHQ? 🙂

    What i normally suggest that you try out is to make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date.

    You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Battlefield V and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

    Try running a CCleaner to remove old temp files and cache.

    Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂

    @Pikxl

    Can you please try these steps:

    • In the NVIDIA Control Panel, go to Adjust image settings with preview, in the main windows choose Use my preference and move the slider all the way left (performance), click Apply at the bottom right.
    • In-game, go to the Advanced video settings and turn GPU memory restriction ON
    • Test out how this goes and report back here please

    Thanks.

    @EA_Barry

    Thanks for the reply.  I followed your instructions but had no luck.  I then tried setting all in-game video settings to OFF or LOW, but the game still crashes.

    Any other thoughts?  Is there a log file I can send you to help determine the issue?

    It is possible your GPU is not actually being used when you play.

    Make sure your display is connected to your video card and not your motherboard and then follow these steps:

    1. Open the nvidia Control Panel
    2. Click Manage 3D settings
    3. Click the Program Settings tab
    4. Click the Add button
    5. Select the game from the list or click browse and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield V\bfv.exe
    6. Select bfv.exe and then Open
    7. Customise individual settings if you like
    8. Exit nvidia control panel and try playing.

    Please try this and let us know if you are good to go. Thanks.

    @EA_Barry

    Thanks for the reply.  Unfortunately the issue still persists.

    • I confirmed that my monitors are connected to the video card and not the motherboard.
    • I carefully followed through the provided steps.
    • I have been able to successfully run other games without issue (I've played Overwatch and Rust).

    Please let me know what the next steps would be to try and resolve this.

    @EA_Atic I believe the issue in the end was not having a powerful enough CPU.  After upgrading I have not experienced the issue.  Thanks for the help.
