Squad members can hear my microphone via VOIP. However, I can not hear them.I am not having an issue with anything other than BFV.I have searched the internet, and many others (on reddit) are experiencing the same issue. Any suggestions to fix (such as using headphones as default playback device, etc.) have not helped me as I already had everything set up that way.I'm using Steelseries Engine for my headphones. Help will be appreciated.

I had voip going through my monitor speakers. Fixed it:Look in Origin settings make sure it is set to your settings.Go into the Windows audio settings and disable all other speakers and mic's you aren't using. This fixed the voip going through the monitor speakers and it works fine now.

Right-click on BFV and select "repair."

None of these solutions worked for me.

As mentioned, all sound is working for everything except squad mate microphone communication in Battlefield V.

They can hear me, but I cannot hear them.
Seems to be a common issue.

Is there a fix coming?

The team is looking to gather some more information on this as it's been difficult to reproduce by the QA team.

Does this fix it for you? Also, are you running anything else in the background like Discord? I've seen that interfere with sound at times.

Can you list the steps leading up to when this happens for you? Next time it happens, if you can record a clip in game of the last 5 minutes and post it here that would be exceptionally helpful.

I've previously viewed that thread and I already had the recommended changes implemented.

I am not running anything in background except Steel Series Engine for my headphones, but I experience no issues when using other apps.

I have the exact same problem as you and I'm using Steelseries Engine 3 with Arctis 3, My squad mates can hear me clearly but I cannot hear them at all, Discord works fine, all other sound works fine except BFV VOIP. As for BF1 and BF4 the VOIP works just fine with the Steelseries Engine 3 but BFV Duh!!!! Just so many bugs in that game!!!

Yep. Still waiting for a fix. No Idea why squad VOIP doesn't come through the same channel as other BFV sounds like bullets, music, etc. How hard can it be?
