Bf v voip on ps4

Hey guys quick question, with firestorm that came out i find it annoying that i cant hear my squad members on ps4 even tho i see a sound icon appearing next to their when they talk, i enabled and disabled ivoip on the options menu but it is no differance

I have sound via tv speakers

When i plug in a headset(without mic) in my controller it seems as if voip

is disabled since none of the squads i join have anyone using voip from that moment(plugged a headset in to test is yesterday and went 15+ squads without someone using one
