BF5 - ingame mouse problems [lag, slow down]

hello there,

i have massive problems with my mouse. i think the problem is called mouse lags. sometimes it lags, slows down and then get faster.

by the way, its impossible to play this way.

its a logitech G9 mouse with wire and played BF5 from beginning without any problems.

the problem started at the last update of BF5!

the problem is just when i´m ingame ONTO the map. while i´m in the death screen (where you can see the small map with spawning points) i don´t have these lags, also in other programms. like written before, JUST ingame in BF5.

i allready installed mouse software (before i NEVER installed a software for this mouse). once done i tried all kinds of adjustings in DPI and also all ingame adjustments in %-sensitive. the problem is still present.

anyone heard about that problem?

Hey @tankdriver0815, Thanks for all added information!

If you play on Low, do you notice any difference?

To see how your PC is going you can run Task-manger while playing and you will see how your pc is performing.

In Origin you can run Origin overlay and add so you can see your FPS by

    • Click Origin in the left corner.
    • Click Application settings.
    • Click Origin in-game.
    • Look for During Gameplay.
    • Dispaly FPS counter.
    • Choose Top right or left.

Looking at your CPU that you linked is below the minimum for Battlefield V, what we recommend:

    MINIMUM
    OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
    Processor (AMD): AMD FX-8350
    Processor (Intel): Core i5 6600K
    Memory: 8GB RAM
    Graphics card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1050 / NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 660 2GB
    Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon™ RX 560 / HD 7850 2GB
DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
    Hard-drive space: 50GB

  • how can i see the fps ingame?

to be honestly i´m not that PC-guy...so i didn´t have an overview about any maxing out. don´t use any tools which display thoses informations.

    till now all worked perfectly.

... but what i tried a few minutes ago was, to set the grafic settings back to medium. this minimzize the problem for about 90% from my feeling. so yes, something seams to get maxed out. strangefully since last update.

is there anything about grafic, which could decrease performance, in the last update? is there an update overview anywhere?
