BF5 chat is not working any more

You should check out your Battlefield V settings if you have disabled chat or player made content, this could result in the chat not working.

Hello. I've just check it, yes all is enable.

Reinstall your game, if the issues does not get fixed after that you should talk to EA support for further assistance.

This happens when the chat filter doesn't like your username, you're encountering this issue only now because recently EA updated the filter (after four years of neglect).

As far as I know all you can do is change username. Alternatively you can wait for them to update the chat filter again, which could take any time between a month and eternity.

@toto29820B ^ if you can see chat from others but can't use it yourself, this'll most likely be the reason.

I've allready try to réinstall the game, it's the same.

Thanks for information. After talking to the support, it seems to be a filter problem. He will try to do semething for me. I hope. I use my nickname since 30 years.
