BF5 won't start on Steam (also own on Origin)

I own Battlefield 5 on Origin but wanted to play with my Steam friends so also purchased there.  BF5 Origins install was uninstalled a year ago.   I installed via Steam yesterday (which seems to have added it to Origins as it is the Definitive Edition.

When I click 'PLAY' in Steam, it changes to 'CANCEL' then almost immediately changes back ton 'PLAY' but will not start.

Even if I try to start from Origins nothing happens.....

How do I get BF5 to start through Steam?

    Hey, can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield V and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.

     

    Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?
