BFV Servers Down & Black Screen - 18 Feb. 2023

Several times just now I tried to join a match. I get added to a squad, then the map graphic appears as its - supposedly - loading the match. Then the screen goes black and I sit there while backgrou...

Edit: I hate EA. This is not a "reply", they just deleted my post. I was the first who report this problem. Time is spent on this, not on solving the problem.

Hello dear community. I have an issue with the connection.

When i try to play in multiplayer i got issues with the connection. I click to the play, and i get a black screen, with the loading icon. I can see the chat, and the squad icons, but nothing more. After 5-6 minutes error disconnect shows up. "Game Disconnected, Connection to the session timed out. The host network bandwith and/or network latency may not meet the requirements for this game".

my internet: 950mb/download (same upload)

I tried to:

  • Repair (4x)
  • Reinstall (2x)
  • Delete stuffs from folders (after this repair)
  • turning off and on the routter
  • use vpn (after I switched back to the original ip I was able to connect once)
  • change ip and change back

    I have same problem, with all servers since yesterday. Tried to join BF1 games and no problem there. Very annoying

      @VatslavR I did the same thing but on BF:2042, but no problems too.

    @lacithetroll same problem here on xbox series and playstation 5. Managed to get into 1 game and ping latency was beyond playable. Tried router etc and still can't play. Ea servers showing up and running. Same yesterday too. Thanks for posting.

    Two days of connection errors in BFV.

    Multiple threads on Answers HQ, Reddit and Steam, multiple reports on Twitter and Down Detector.

    Radio silence from EA Dice.

    Same on Xbox in Ontario. A few friends and my self also have this issue yet it shows sessions with lots of players so it’s clearly not affecting everyone. Hopefully they fix this soon.
