Blurred Screen while running/prone

Product: Battlefield V
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Please specify your platform model. Sony PlayStation 4 Slim
Which part of the game is the issue happening in? Multiplayer
Which part of the mode? Conquest
Please select your region North America
On which server did this happen?
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm)
Summarize your bug Often while running or sometimes prone my screen will blur almost as if I am falling.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? This randomly happens but has become more frequent. I've noticed it most often on Aerodrome map, but Fjell and Devastation also seem to experience it frequently
What happens when the bug occurs? While running (both upright and crouched) I experience times where my screen will become blurred as if I am falling. This happens only for a second or two. I have experienced this issue on occasion while prone and looking down sights. When it happens while prone I am no longer looking down the sights but instead seem to only be able to hipfire weapon.
What should be happening instead? Should not lose my ability to sight down a weapon while prone, nor should I experience the sensation of 'falling' while running

I posted this on Reddit and a few users also experience this same issue. Some suggest it is in response to someone else performing an action, like shooting a flare. I had multiple times where my own team and the opposing team shot flares and I did not experience the issue.

  • This also happens when not moving, in tanks and even on the redeploy screen (had that just today). I believe it's tied to bayonet charges as it started occurring around the same time that the bayonet icon showed up on all our guns, even those which don't feature bayonets.

  • @GraymanStole noticed the exact same on Xbox One X, so annoying and off-putting, it's a similar effect to when you used to bayonet charge in BF1. I've no idea why it triggers all the time though as I don't even have a bayonet fixed. DICE is this intentional?

    @nickking360

Does it look like the videos posted here?

If not, can you get a recorded clip next time this happens so we can take look at what you're seeing from your end? Thanks!

  • @GraymanStole Check your in game video options and turn off motion blur, chromatic abberation, film grain etc. I had all of these disbabled pre-patch and the patch re-enabled them. I noticed the blurriness, turned them all off again and everything went back to normal for me.
