I have this problem as well. Blitzed my way to medic rank 20 and left the game to look at the new weapon and assignment. Only for the game to say that the gun is still locked and the assignment doesn't show up.

Same here. Quit to main menu when aquired rank 20 recon. My kar98k was locked..............

Yup.
Level 20 medic, and did not receive anything. It's been like this for at least three to four days.
Just made it to level 20 Medic and backed out of a match to equip my unlocked Thompson submachine gun and now it is permanently locked "until next round". Please fix this DICE that is a huge let down ☹️
Got the same exact problem myself with the M1928A1 reach medic rank 20 for the Gun not to unlock shame really hope they fix it soon.
